Hello, my name's Tango. I'm a young guy, just looking for my match made in heaven. My perfect household would be another canine/female that would love to play all day long. I enjoy playing with dogs big or small. We are not sure about cats.
I love going on walks, and my foster family says I do well on leash. Car rides are my jam too. I just settle in for the ride; I'd go cross country if I could. Did I mention that I love playing chase? I would rather play with another playmate than a toy.
I know where to do my business (outside) and love my crate. If I'm tired throughout the day, I will simply just go into my crate and take a fiver before getting back into play mode.
My ultimate night would be snuggling up on the couch, watching marathon Hallmark movies on the movie channel. I do have a soft spot for Hallmark movies!
I tend to take a little bit more time to warm up to human males, but once I know I can trust you, I'll be your best friend. The human ladies are the ones I try and work all my magic on, as I know I will be the one you wear daily to work, after all, white fur shows up on just about every color. But I would put them there so you think of me often while we would be apart. It's all out of love! I've met few children who are older and love the war and belly rubs they give me. I'm sure you're kids would need to be taught how to find just the right spot when I do want those ear and belly rubs.
I've spent more then half my life with FLR FaerieLand Rescue, Inc. , coming into rescue just a few days shy of my first birthday in August of 2022. I'm not complaining, my fosters have taught me what it's like to live life as a dog and I will never forget anyone that has touched my heart here in rescue. But being the longest dog in rescue right now, I feel it's my time to find my fur-ever home now. I've watched, learned and seen so many others find theirs, when it was their time, and I feel it's my time soon. Please consider adopting me, maybe we meet up once or twice, heck we can even say the third time is when my charm will really win you over. No matter how many it would take, I'm game, but I doubt we would need more than the one. You'll be smitten with my puppy dog eyes and my amazing charm! Guaranteed or you get a free hug and kiss and my recommendation for the best Hallmark movie ever!
As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.
We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or living outside. We do not adopt our dogs to folks in apartments. We do not allow our dogs to be confined in a underground fenced system. We would like to see him in a fenced yard 6' high.
