If Tony were a painting, he would be the Mona Lisa because his eyes follow you everywhere you go! Tony does well with other dogs, great with cats and would do ok with older children(12 + yrs or older) in the home. He will need a home familiar and understanding of his breeds. He is a lover once he feels confident in his environment.

Tony knows lots of commands such as sit, wait, come, heal, down, shake, catch and more. He is a solid tank of a dog that has limited awareness of his size and strength. Continued training is going to be important to keeping him happy. Tony can be a little nervous at first but once he gets to know you, he will be loyal and loving forever! As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.

We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our shepherds to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
