Meet Ethel, a rescue pup whose DOB is 12.26.21. Her adoption fee is $450.00 and she is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations.
Oh Ethel, how beautiful you are! Ethel is living the good life in rescue, taking each day as it comes and becoming more and more confident. She can be a little timid when first meeting a new person, but once she realizes they just want to give her love (pets, cuddles, kisses and belly rubs), she melts into your lap. Her favorite things are zoomies (indoor and out!), playing the game "I'm going to get you", where you tell her you are going to get her and chase her around, and bones of all types and flavors. She tends to be a little bit of a bone hoarder. She likes to bring them all to wherever her "spot" is at that moment. She is very good at the sploot and Corgi sit (sitting on her bottom like a prairie dog)!
She does well with other dogs but does require slow introductions to larger dogs that are high energy. Once she knows they are just looking to play, she wants to join in the fun. Smaller dogs and dogs that are more low key, she is quicker to adapt to but currently is in a home with both types (energetic and laid back). She is adjusting well to being in a kennel, but does love to be involved in any of the action going on around her. She is working hard on house training. She does best if her human goes out with
her and she doesn't have any other distractions.....again, she doesn't want to miss out on anything! She would do best with kids over 12 years of age. Cats are currently unknown, but her foster feels she would do fine with cats in the home.
Ethel is looking for the perfect home to make her very own. She deserves the very best and will be sure not to disappoint. She has lots of love to give and is ready to take on the world!
***Ethel will require a fenced in yard and will not do well in an apartment.
As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.
We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or living outside. We do not allow our dogs to be confined in a underground fenced system. We would like to see her in a fenced yard 6' high.
