Dashing, smart and adventure-loving single guy seeks active family to share a fun-filled life. I will excitedly accompany you camping, hiking or long walks around the neighborhood as we keep each other healthy with regular exercise. I’m a sucker for any ball or toy you let me play with. My silly antics with a toy will keep you laughing. I promise to make you look like the world’s best trainer because my brain is as big as my heart!

Speaking of training, I would love to do agility or even herding classes if I could. Being a Border Collie x Corgi or a BORGI as they say, my instincts are very much in tune. Try as I might, I can’t always help myself from chasing things that move like wildlife and small critters (kitties but I don't hurt them), because that’s what we herding dogs do! I’d love a similarly-minded canine sibling in my forever home. Kids are a must for me. I love giving kids attention and will love them unconditionally.

A crate is a fun, safe place for me to hang out. My foster mom says "must have a 5' fence" in my new home to keep me safe and give me plenty of exercise. I want to go many places and see things I haven’t experienced yet, but I’ve been told I’m working on my leash manners. Everything is so exciting and new! I also know when it’s time to go outside and use the bathroom; I’ll let you know with a silly howl or bark.

Desi would want nothing more than to be a cherished member of a family that adores him as much as he will adore them. Homes with herding breed experience are preferred and will be blown away by this "once-in-a-lifetime" dog

As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.

We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our shepherds to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
