“Poppy” is a neutered male, German ShepherdxHusky mix pup who’s had all of his vaccinations. He’s a smaller boy, about 45 pounds at 7 months old, looking for his forever home. His DOB is 10.24.22. His adoption fee is $500.00.
Poppy is doing very well with housetraining, but still can get distracted with playing and have an occasional accident. He’s very friendly and interactive but in a laid back, mellow way.
Poppy is a very sweet guy, full of puppy energy, who is also a snuggle buddy thrilled to just hang out on the couch with his people. He never met a ball he didn’t love, but he’s a keep away kind of guy, not a fetcher. Poppy also loves laying on the deck just basking in the sun after a romp in the yard. He is very intelligent and very eager to please. He would do well in a home with an experienced dog owner who can provide him with plenty of exercise, mental stimulation and training.
As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.
We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our shepherds to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
