“Chewy” is a spayed female, German Shepherd mix who’s had all of her vaccinations. She’s a smaller girl, about 35 pounds at 7 months old, looking for her forever home. Chewy is doing very well with housetraining, but still gets distracted with playing and has an occasional accident. Her name relates back to Chewbacca in the Star Wars films because she is very friendly and interactive. Chewy loves to chat. Her DOB is 10.24.22 and her adoption fee is $500.00

Chewy is a sweet, energetic little girl. She loves to run and play in the back yard with her foster brothers and sisters and would be a great hiking or running partner. She is very intelligent, learns quickly, and is eager to please. She would do well in a home with an experienced dog owner who can provide her with plenty of exercise, mental stimulation and training.

As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.

We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our shepherds to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
