Meet Sage who has a DOB of 9.9.22. Sage had a rough first 5 months of her life. She was sheltered, neglected and starved before coming into rescue. Sage started out scared and shy of new things and people. Luckily she is young enough that she is coming out of her shell and learning that being with humans is a rewarding thing. In the short time she had been in Minnesota, She has learned some simple commands (sit, down and paw), learning to walk on a leash and playing so well with her fur fosters who are double her size. Her adoption fee is $500.00.

She has been introduced to many different environments and stimuli to teach her to not be afraid of new things. She goes to her human fosters school every day to pick up "her kids" and in turn gets so many belly rubs, that now when she gets there, she will flop down, roll over and wait for the kids to come give her some love! Coming from being afraid of people and new things, this is a huge improvement, and she now knows the world is not such a scary place.

Sage is a total sweetheart and loves to cuddle and will gladly steal your spot if you aren't paying attention. Although she loves to play around and snuggle, this girl can move! She's had the best zoomies ever! Sage is going to make one family extremely happy.

As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.

We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our shepherds to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
