Look into my eyes and I will steal your heart and then I will steal your shoes!
I'm Opal. I came into rescue with my two siblings. I am now older & I’ve made my presence known in my foster home. I’m a very lively young lady who loves to spend my time exploring. I love to run in the yard, play with my brother, sister and fur fosters. I also loved playing with the little humans too. After I play, I crash hard and love it even more in my humans lap!

Things I know:
*stairs, I’m a champ now, they were scary at first. Now I fly down them.
*how to sit. You tell me it's time to eat, I sit immediately & wait patiently for my meal.
*how to clean my food bowl because I’m always hungry and my motto is "leave no morsel behind!"
*how to be good in my crate (well, kind of, to be honest it’s not my favorite) especially if another dog is near me.
* the word ”no” means because my foster mommy says it allot (Can I chew this cord? No. This shoe? No. This box? No. But I'm just a baby and am learning my manners).

Things I don’t know:
*Opal is potty trained, knows sit, down and working on stay. I
* my boundaries with other dogs. Again, my foster mommy says I'm young and I'll get the hang of it.
Now that I’ve told you some things about me, do you love me? Yes? No?

As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. Please note "we do not adopt our dogs to folks who live in apartments".

We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our shepherds to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
