Met Macy, a 1 1/2 year old German Shepherd with a DOB of 3.20.22. She is vaccinated and has a microchip. We will have her spay soon.

If you are serious about this dog, Please go to our website and fill out an application: www.faerielandrescue.org/resources. We do not adopt to folks who live in apartments.

If you are looking for an amazing, intelligent, loving and loyal dog, Macy is your gal! She went from being chained up since she was 8 weeks old to loving the best life in her foster home.

In the short amount of time she has been at her foster home, they have learned so much about Macy and what she has to offer. This active and playful girl has learned toys are the best! Give this girl a big chew toy, and she will be in heaven. Heaven to her also is being around her humans (big and small) and the other dog in the home. Walks are another outlet for all her amazing energy. She does amazingly on leash and knows a lot of basic commands - sit, stay, wait, shake, lay down. With more obedience training, this girl will do amazing things. She is food motivated and wants to please, so she learned very quickly how to get that special treat. She loves sleeping in her crate and knows it's her safe and comfy place to lay. For a girl that was never potty trained, she gets the gold star on the quickness of learning this new task.

So, if your family is ready for an amazing dog that's ready for you, look no further than Macy. Apply today for this rock star girl!

As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.

We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our rescue digs to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
