Are you ready for your heart to melt?! Meet Allspice! He is a breeder release and is learning what it's like to be a house dog. He is a bit shy when meeting new people, but his confidence and socialization has come a long ways since being in rescue a few months. He is learning how to walk on leash. Which is improving with not pulling & the help of some basic obedience training. Mr. Spicey will have it mastered in no time.

Toys are a new concept for Allspice as he will ignore them. But give him a bone or chewy, and he will be set for hours! He sleeps in his crate at night but can be loose in the house for certain amount of time. We consider Allspice housebroken.

His perfect home would be with folks who are very patient and have a low activity home. Due to his shyness, we feel he would do best in a home with another female dog about his own size. We are not recommending small children, but preferably ages 15 or over and a secure 5 foot fenced in yard.

As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We would like this dog to be adopted into a secure 5' fenced yard.

We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our shepherds to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
