Meet Linus a Shepherd mix dog with a DOB of 11.11.22. He is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.00
Linus is moving so much better on 7.1.24 where he takes normal steps about 6" apart from each other in the rear. He can get on a couch by himself and is living his best life in a foster home at this time. So sweet and gets along with all dogs, and humans of all ages.
If you are serious about this dog, please go to our website and fill out an application: https://faerielandrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/. We do not adopt our dogs to folks who live in apartments.
a very sweet dog that did not have the best life previously. He was injured to his pelvic area where the balls of the hips are fused out of the socket. He walks with both hind legs together at the same time.
He loves all people and especially anyone who will pet him non-stoo and loves children. His ideal home would have secure fenced yard with very low-key folks. A one level home with no steps due to his hips. Linus will not be a jogging partner or agility dog but he will be a good companion and loyal friend. He would be best as an only dog in the home as we think there was some trauma in his past with other dogs and his trying to survive on his own. He easily goes in his crate, which needs a nice soft padding. He is house broken and is continuing to gain weight to reach his ideal weight.
You will not meet a sweeter dog than Linus. Give this gentleman a place to call home, and he will not disappoint!
As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.
We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our rescue dogs to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
