Meet Cali-I24004, a female German Shepherd Dog whose coat color is black/tan. She has age appropriate vaccinations, a microchip & is spay. Her DOB is 8.5.23. Her adoption fee is $450.00
If you are serious about this dog, please go to our website and fill out an application: https://faerielandrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/. We do not adopt our dogs to folks who live in apartments.
Once she has made a human connection and is comfortable, Cali is attentive and likes to please. She has responded well to training, treat motivators, and repeated praise. She continues to learn her commands: sit, stay, wait, kennel up, “take it nice” with treats, and “night” for bedtime.
Cali is vocal when she needs to go outside or for a little attention and potty breaks. She is also crate trained, as it is her safe place to go when she wants a break. She has been around cats and has boundaries in place for the cats in the foster house.
Cali can be a very playful and silly girl when she is comfortable with all who are around her. She is beginning to know what toys are but has been slow to play with the resident dogs in the home. She will watch them play and then try a bit before she will go do her own thing.
This beautiful Cali girl is looking for that perfect partner in life, to grow and learn from. She has not been around small children, so we are recommending children of age 12 and up for you to apply. We will require a 6' fenced, secure yard to adopt this girl.
As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.
We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our rescue digs to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
