Sophie is an adult dog whose personality is as big as her heart. She's a bundle of joy, with an energetic spirit that's contagious. Sophie is the epitome of loyalty, always sticking by your side. Her curiosity keeps her exploring her surroundings, turning every day into a new adventure. She's independent, capable of entertaining herself, yet she's also the ultimate cuddle buddy. She loves to play. Her playful nature bringing laughter and happiness to everyone around her. She's sweet and would prefer older children (12 years and older) in the home as little ones are a tad scary for her. She was not raised with them. As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We do not adopt to folks who live in apartments.

We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our shepherds to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
