Meet Kokomo, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi female. Her DOB is 9.20.17. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $350.00.

If you are serious about this dog, please go to our website and fill out an application: https://faerielandrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/. We do not adopt our dogs to folks who live in apartments.

If you are looking for a sweetie, Kokomo is your girl. She is kind and gentle to everyone that she encounters, both humans and animals and is always doing her best to please. She loves spending time snuggling on the couch or touching her person.

Kokomo is living with a resident German Shepherd, 2 Corgis and one cat ranging in all ages and gets along perfectly with them all. She does not chase the cat and really enjoys her dog friends. She is becoming more confident every day. She still has some work to do. A fenced in-secure yard has been beneficial to her acclimation. She does well on leash as well. She is crate trained and doing well on potty training on a schedule. Kokomo has met a few small humans and did well with them as they understood her fear of quick movements. We are recommending a home with children over the age of 12 years.

When unsupervised and a couch buddy is not available, Kokomo spends time relaxing in her kennel or a quiet space of the home. She is quiet inside and will only vocalize when prompted from her foster dog friends or when she sees something exciting while outside, this is rare and she is quickly redirected. She mostly enjoys spending time with people and other animals. She is so beautiful and has the cutest trot! Kokomo is a gentle and kind dog and is excited to be with her forever family.

As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.

We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our rescue dogs to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
