If you are looking for a silly, sweet pup with a big heart, you’ve found me! My name is Kubu, and I am a Corgi. It took me a little time to warm up, but now I’m loving life and discovering the world isn’t so scary after all. I’m still getting accustomed to new things, so I’ll need some time to settle into my forever home—but I’m eager to please and ready to learn!
I’m kennel trained—though I’d prefer to hang out with you, I’ll happily race to my kennel for a treat (because, let’s be honest, who doesn’t love food?). My foster mom calls me “food motivated,” whatever that means! I’m also working on my potty training, and I’m making great progress.
I’m a playful guy who loves following my corgi foster brother around, and I’d be thrilled to have a furry sibling in my forever home. I’m also great with cats. Kids? I haven’t had much exposure, but I’ve met a few, and I think I wouldn’t mind them as long as they are gentle with me. If you’re patient, ready to help me grow, and looking for a fun, loving companion, I’m your guy!
As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We would like this dog to be adopted into a secure 5'-6' fenced yard.
We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our shepherds to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
