Pelia, whose name means "miracle," was born on 07.22.24. After facing difficulties early in life, Pelia is ready to find a loving home. Weighing only 30 pounds, she is referred to as a "pocket shepherd." The adoption fee for Pelia is $550.00 plus MN state sales tax. She has received her vaccinations, been microchipped, and spayed.
If you are serious about this dog, please go to our website and fill out an application: https://faerielandrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/. We do not adopt our dogs to folks who live in apartments.
As an 8-month-old, Pelia is petite. Having overcome her initial shyness, she now has a very outgoing personality. She has been trained to walk on a leash but still jumps up; obedience training will help this girl succeed in manners. She is highly intelligent and eager to please. Pelia has attended an adoption event, where she showcased her excellent social skills with humans and furry companions. She is crate and house trained. Pelia would make a wonderful addition to any family and is eagerly waiting for her perfect miracle!
As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.
We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our rescue dogs to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
