Kenna longs for a fur-ever home filled with unconditional love and devotion. For just a $100 adoption fee, are you her ideal match, where she'll be the center of attention and adoration, and live the life she's always dreamed of?
f you are serious about this dog, please go to our website and fill out an application: https://faerielandrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
We do not adopt our dogs to folks who live in apartments.
Kenna is a very smart German Shepherd. She likes all people including children. We are recommending children of the age 10+ because of her size. She might knock someone down. She needs to be an only dog as she is Queen of the castle. She knows: sit, wait, come, heal(working on it), crate & house trained. She loves to ride in the car and will easily jump in when a door is open.
Further obedience training is recommended to bond with her and reinforce the basics with her. She likes to play ball but not obsessed with a ball. She is quiet and a great dog to have as a companion for someone who enjoys a German Shepherd. She is on the bigger size at about 36" at the shoulder and weighing around 81#. Her coat is a beautiful black/tan in color and it shines.
Kenna does have prey drive so it is recommended that there not be any cats in the home. She will require a 6' fenced yard to be chosen as her FUR-EVER home. She is a beauty that can't wait to meet you.
As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.
We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our rescue dogs to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
