Hi! I’m Woody, and I would love to be your best friend. My DOB is 09.16.24 and my adoption fee is $450.00 plus MN state sales tax
I’m a 1-year-old male corgi mix, but I’m a little smaller than your typical corgi – I’m only about 16 pounds. I was neutered recently and am current on my vaccinations. I have a microchip. I’ve been pretty good about only going potty outside as long as my foster mom keeps to a schedule, and I’m pretty comfortable in my crate.
If you are serious about this dog, please go to our website and fill out an application: https://faerielandrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
We do not adopt our dogs to folks who live in apartments.
I love to run and play, and I also love to meet new people. I will cover you with kisses as soon as we meet! My foster mom says it’s not good manners to jump around when meeting people, so I’m working really hard on remembering to sit instead. I get pretty excited though, so I sometimes need to be reminded. I love people of all ages, but I do sometimes get a little mouthy when I play, so you probably want to be very careful if I’m around little kids. I wouldn’t mean to hurt them, but I might get carried away and forget they’re not puppies!
I’m very curious and I want to know everything! I’ll investigate everywhere and learn things quickly. I love puzzles like the one I sometimes get my dinner in and would probably love to get involved in agility when I’m old enough.
I like playing with toys, and I’m starting to learn that dropping the ball means someone can throw it. I also like playing with most other dogs, though if I get scared by another dog, I’ll bark fiercely to keep them away. I am intensely fascinated by rabbits and squirrels, so if you have little caged pets, I probably won’t be able to leave them alone. My foster mom didn’t have any cats, so I’ve not had a chance to meet any yet.
Please come meet me! I’m looking for a fur-ever home and it will be a really fun companion if you like being active. Take me running, hiking or let me have fun with a sport like agility, flyball, herding, or any other sports you think would be fun. I’ll be by your side through everything and will be your most loyal friend!
As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.
We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our rescue dogs to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
