This little German shepherd girl is a sweet, easygoing bundle of love. She also has a playful side and will occasionally get the zoomies, play fetch, or run and wrestle with the resident older dogs. She is just as content playing with her toys or chewing on a bone or a Kong. Lilly is very smart and picks up on things quickly. She is very food motivated, which helps when training her. She is mostly potty-trained and will sit at the door and whine when she has to go out. As long as you pay attention, she does not have accidents in the house.

In normal GSD fashion, she loves to be with her family and will never wander far away for fear of missing out on something. She has taken trips to stores, breweries, the airport and DQ for a pup cup and is great in the car. She will settle in and nap on the way to and from her big adventures. She has met and been fine with other dogs. She has shown no interest in the resident cats. She is crate trained and settles right in with very little fuss and has been sleeping 6-8 hours at night before she will whimper to let you know it is time to get up to go potty. With continued training and attention, Lilly will surely become a great addition to a family looking for a fur-ever friend.

As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.

We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out. We do not allow our rescue dogs to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system. We do not adopt our dogs to folks who plan to have the dogs living outside 24/7 or the majority of time or living in a kennel type environment.
