Meet Bo, a very smart and sweet Shepherd mix male with a DOB of 06.20.25. He has age appropriate vaccinations and a microchip. His adoption fee is $550.00 plus MN state sales tax.
If you are serious about this dog, please go to our website and fill out an application: https://faerielandrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
We do not adopt out our dogs to folks who live in apartments. These are herding breeds who require lots of exercise, training, room to run and play.
He is already potty & crate trained Bo knows sit, and nice (for taking treats). Foster mom is working on leave it, and his recall.
Bo is a very loving pup. He often will plop himself on his foster mom’s lap when she is sitting on the floor. He loves body & neck rubs. And the fosters adore the cute little “Chewbacca” noises he makes when greeting us. Bo will look deep into your eyes while getting neck rubs and ear pets. I don't know what he's trying to convey, but those eyes will melt anyone's heart!
He would do great with a 10 yr or older, respectful child. He loves everybody big or small. The foster doesn't have cats, but we are sure he would be fine with them with some guidance. Just like any puppy, he's energetic. He is very good at entertaining himself with the gazillion toys lying about. But he also loves a good wrestling match with his 80lb foster sister. He's a brave little guy and already alerts us to any mischief going on in the neighborhood.
While he does have puppy energy, he also will just chill for good lengths of time with something to chew on, or a good long nap on the cool tile. Bo is a smart, happy & handsome boy. He'd love an active family, with or without kids and other fur siblings.
As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.
We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our rescue dogs to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
