Meet Helen, A female Corgi, red/white in color with a DOB 3.19.13 and an adoption fee of $300.00. I am spay, up to date on vaccinations and have a microchip.
Hello, I'm Hellen. I’m an senior Corgi that was found abandoned in Texas. I’m very chill and don’t require much. I’m believed to be blind and mostly deaf, but that doesn't hold me back. I love a comfy bed to lay in and spend most of the day,, especially when the sun is out. I am house trained. I don’t mind if your home is loud and active cause I can’t hear much.
My foster doesn’t have any cats, but I probably would be just fine living with one. I don’t mind other dogs, but I don’t know how to play with them. Time and patience will be the key to teach me how to be a dog, which a fur brother could really help me learn the ropes. I walk nicely on a leash if we go slow but I really enjoy it when my foster mom pushes me around in a stroller. It's the highlight of my day! I find it easier to sit and smell all the new smells and know I am safe from harm in the stroller. Running into a tree or a curb is scary. A doggie halo could help me with gaining more confidence walking outside my comfort zone (I figured out my fosters home very quickly).
I have lots of love to give and would love to give it to you. Could I come be part of your family? If so, please apply for me today. I promise I will love you forever! A fenced, secure yard is a must for this dog.
As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.
We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our shepherds to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system. Please note "we do not adopt to folks who live in apartments".
