Meet Mia, a Corgi mix, red/white in color with a DOB of 3.27.23. She is spay, vaccinated and has a microchip. Her adoption fee is $500.00.
If you are serious about this dog, Please go to our website www.faerielandrescue.org/resources. We do not adopt to folks who live in apartments.
Meet Mia, a sweet, spunky corgi, who loves to play and hang out with her people. We don’t know much about her before coming to rescue except a release from a breeder who was downsizing. She is approximately seven months old and just under 20 pounds.
At her foster home, she loves to play with toys. Her favorites are a stuffed toy beaver and tennis balls. She also loves to play fetch, but doesn’t always want to give the ball back. Her motto is “Play hard &nap hard”. She is a bit of a wild child & a sweet cuddler.
Since staying with her foster home, she’s been good in her crate and excelling at house training. When adopting, please keep in mind that taking her out often at first to show where the puppy is to do her business outside as she is still a puppy! She is resource guarding her treats and food around other dogs. If you have other pets, she may need to be fed separately. But she does love to play with other dogs.
She has not been around cats or small children at her foster home. She would likely do best with older children around 12 or 14 + years of age. She does bark if she hears other dogs. She also wants to save her humans from the evil vacuum cleaner and power tools. So no shared walls is a good idea.
As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.
We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our shepherds to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system.
