He’s super smart, sits for treats & house/crate trained. Ranger walks well on a leash. He is food motivated & likes to learn new tricks. He currently does sit, down & paw! He is good with other dogs & respectful with cats. We recommend that children be 12 years of age or older for this puppy. We require a 6' high fenced yard for Ranger. If he got loose he may not come back.
He loves playing outside, loves toys & treats of all kinds. Once he bonds with you, he’ll be your best, loyal friend fur-ever. He likes cuddles! He has soulful eyes & a striking coat. He is sweet, goofy & smart. He’s been described as a “heart breaker” by people we’ve met.
Ranger would do best in a home with another dog \He likes to play & could use more confidence when outside of the house. He is working on being comfortable in vehicles - they make him very nervous and does better if another dog is the car with him. Foster mom has been taking him to places like Home Depot or other places where dogs are welcome including adoption events.
As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved.
We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our rescue dogs to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system. The dogs must live in the home and not be left unattended outside in a fenced or non-fenced yard.
